About Online Reason

A Seoul practice devoted to application audits of invoice matching — the quiet machinery that decides whether a supplier invoice clears or waits.

Why we exist

Invoice matching applications sit between purchasing, receiving, and payment. When their rules drift from how goods and services actually arrive, exception queues swell and month-end close becomes a scramble. Online Reason was formed to examine that application layer with patience — configuration, samples, and people who clear the holds.

Origin

The practice began in Gangnam after years of sitting beside AP supervisors who could describe every stubborn invoice by memory, yet lacked a structured reading of the matching application itself. We chose a narrow craft: application audits of invoice matching applications, not broad finance consulting.

How we work with clients

We read what the application is set to do, then compare that to a sample of live documents. Findings are written in the language of purchase orders, goods receipts, tolerances, and overrides — vocabulary AP and internal audit already share. We do not sell software, and we do not replace your ERP partner.

People and place

Engagements are led from our office at 13 Teheran-ro 5-gil, Gangnam-gu, Seoul 06134, with on-site sessions across the capital region when configuration access or workshops require it. We keep teams small so the same reviewers who read your tolerances also present the findings.

Values in practice

  • Specificity over slogans — every finding points to a rule, a sample invoice, or a role.
  • Respect for AP time — we ask for extracts once, not in weekly waves.
  • Clear boundaries — audit and advice stay separate from build-and-run work unless you explicitly commission follow-on support.
